Signal from Movement, Detroit
Hart Plaza at dusk. The whole city humming on one frequency. A few frames and a few thoughts from the motor city.
Detroit doesn't ask permission. You step onto Hart Plaza and the ground is already moving — decades of it, stacked under your feet.
Hart Plaza at golden hour, the river catching light behind the main stage
We played as the sun went down over the river. The set started slow — bossa and soul, letting the crowd settle in. By the second hour the kick drum and the river wind were the same tempo.

Movement is one of those festivals that earns its mythology. Techno was born here and the city never lets you forget it. Every DJ who plays Hart Plaza is in conversation with that history, whether they want to be or not.
The crowd at dusk, faces lit by stage light
We leaned hard into the deep end of the catalog — the reggae-inflected cuts, the bossa-tinged things that don't quite fit any box. Detroit received it. That's the whole job, really: find the frequency everybody's already on and turn it up.

The thing about Detroit is the audience doesn't applaud you for showing up — they make you earn it. When it clicks, you feel it in your chest. We felt it. More transmissions soon.
